A corrections officer from the Stiles Unit in Beaumont has died from COVID-19
complications. 45-year old Tracey Adams tested positive for the coronavirus on
February 11th and died this past Saturday. She had been with the Stiles Unit since January
19th. Adams is the 43rd Texas corrections officer to die from COVID-19.
