Lamar University President Dr. Ken Evans, who announced his retirement earlier this year,
has been named president of Oklahoma City University. Dr. Evans has been president of Lamar
since 2013, coming to Lamar from the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Evans will begin his new
position on July 1st.
