Beaumont police are investigating a deadly shooting. A homeowner in the 2900 block of Pine
Street said a woman tried to force her way in his house yesterday morning and shot her multiple
times. 27-year old Cheyenne Rene Mounce was pronounced dead at the scene. The homeowner
was transported to the police station for questioning.
