A worker from the Chemtrade plant in Beaumont was airlifted to the hospital yesterday after
he sustained sulfuric acid burns. The plant is located on Olin Road, near Lamar University.
Beaumont Fire & EMS setup a landing spot for the helicopter in the parking lof of the
Montagne Center at Lamar.
