Beaumont police are investigating a shooting. A man was shot in the leg last night outside an
apartment in the 4300 block of North Major. A woman told police she was walking a man from
her apartment when he tried to forcibly make sexual advances towards her, She shoved him away
and shot him the leg when he came towards her. The man fled the scene and was later located.
No arrests have been made at this time.
