The DPS reports a Jasper County woman died in a single vehicle crash yesterday. 73-year old
Cynthia Echols, of Burkeville, was traveling south on Highway 87 at an unsafe speed and lost
control of her vehicle, left the roadway, and struck a tree. She was pronounced dead at the
scene.
