A man is jailed for setting his house on fire in north Beaumont. When firefighters arrived on the
scene heavy flames were coming from the home. Firefighters were on the scene for nearly three
hours. Police went to a nearby park where the resident of the home told them he deliberate set
his house on fire. He was transported to jail and charged with arson and unlawfully carrying a
weapon as a gun was found in his backpack.
