Jasper police have released additional information on a deadly shooting. Police say
31-year old Kendal Garrett, of Jasper, broke into a home early Sunday morning on
Hodges Street. Once inside the home he was shot. Following the shooting, Garrett
fled on foot and collapsed in the street. He was taken to Christus Jasper Memorial
Hospital where he was pronounced dead. An arrest has not been made as the
investigation continues.
