(Houston, TX) -- A Southeast Texas police officer is dead following a shooting. Houston Police Chief Troy Finner says Officer William "Bill" Jeffrey was serving a drug warrant this morning on Aeropark near Bush Intercontinental Airport when he was killed. A second officer, Sergeant Michael Vance, is stable in the hospital after also being wounded. The suspect is dead. Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez declined to ID the man only saying he was wanted on a high-level warrant.
