The Beaumont Public Health Department is reporting one COVID-19 death from yesterday,
a 75 year old man with underlying health issues. There are 100 new positive tests. Of those,
53 are citizens 18 years old or younger. 58% of Jefferson County residents have received their first
vaccination, 47.9% have been fully vaccinated. Of the 188 COVID-19 patients in Jefferson
County hospitals, only 18 have been vaccinated.
