Beaumont police are investigating a case in which shots were fired into a convenience store last
night. It happened around 10:15 at the Ace’s store in the 2000 block of Magnolia. Several 9mm
casing were found at the scene. Shortly after the shooting, a man arrived at Baptist Hospital with
a gunshot wound to the leg.
