Beaumont police are investigating a fatality. A man riding a scooter was struck by a vehicle in
the 3100 block of East Lucas around 9:30 last night. The victim has been identified as 39-year
old Clifford Hudson of Beaumont. The driver of the vehicle was not hurt.
