A Jasper man has been sentenced to life in prison. 56-year old Royce Edwards Larkin was
convicted and sentenced today for the September 2019 stabbing death of 61-year old Judy
McKinney in Jasper. It took the jury 20 minutes to convict Larkin. Following the punishment
phase, the jury returned with a life sentence.
