A man that pleaded guilty to an aggravated robbery in which his accomplice was shot and killed
by a bystander has been sentenced to 30 years in prison. On October 1st of last year Desmond
Ingram and Ricardo Guient were robbing the Church’s Chicken on Jefferson Drive in Port
Arthur. A citizen, with a concealed handgun license, retrieved a gun from his vehicle and shot
Ingram and Guient. Guient died at a hosptial. Ingram was found at a nearby apartment. He was
sentenced to the 30 years by Judge Raquel West. No charges were filed against the shooter.
