Gas prices in the Beaumont/Port Arthur area are up 11 cents from last Friday with an average
price of $4.35 a gallon. A year ago on June 3rd the average price was $2.68 a gallon. The average
price for a gallon across the state of Texas this morning is up 15 cents to $4.39. The national
average is $4.76 a gallon, up 17 cents. California has the highest average at $6.24 a gallon.
Georgia is reporting the lowest average at $4.22.
