A Kountze man is jailed in Hardin County for robbing the Community Bank of FM 421 in
Lumberton. Police Chief Danny Sullins says the suspect, 37-year old Timothy Shane Mitchell
handed the teller a note demanding money. The note stated he had a gun. Mitchell pulled
into the CVS parking lot on Highway 69 where he was arrested. Mitchell is being held on a
$ 1 million bond.
