A Jefferson County jury has convicted a Port Arthur man for murder. 23-year old Martin Pettway
was found guilty for the August 2019 shooting death of Jesse Rodriguez on Dowlen Road at
Eastex Freeway. Prosecutors say the shooting followed an incident inside CiCi’s Pizza in
Beaumont. Pettway faces five to 99 years in prison.
