A man shot by a store clerk during a robbery in Beaumont remains in the hospital. The clerk shot
62-year old William Coleman after he attacked her during the robbery of the Everest Food Mart
in the 2800 block of Eastex Freeway. An arrest warrant has been issued for Coleman. Once he is
released from the hospital he will be transported to the Jefferson County Correctional Facility
under a $250,000 bond.
