I try to apply real life circumstances to anything I write. It's easier for me to relate to and at 86, there's a lot to cover. I've gotten more than a few speeding tickets in my time and was guilty as charged on everyone. I pulled over, took my license out of my pocket and held it out the window to show officers I was not a threat. That doesn't make me a knight in shining armor. I do know my rights and if I am wrongly accused I will state my case in court.(FYI, I never won.) The latest attack on a former president has been met with glee from those who hate him and that's understandable. It has enraged those who feel he has been treated poorly and that also is understandable. There has been trouble with presidents that has been ignored for six decades. John Kennedy ran something short of a bawdy house at the capitol. It sure wasn't the white house. Nixon defaced the office and Bill Clinton lied to the public with nothing more than a sneer on his face. His wife did likewise but fell short of election. Probably the Bush's and Barack Obama are the closest to Diogenes who sought out the honest man, but his lantern has failed to shine a light on the current president and some of his alleged escapades. Two things could happen. It could be the end of the line for the Trump organization or it could turn a few heads around. Even in this day and age, there are some things that change people's minds. I don't really know who is honest and who is not and neither do you, but we are entitled to an opinion. Two impeachments and an evil, biased media have failed to take down the man and his beanstalk. maybe "Jack" has the answer and all of us know who "Jack" is. The Duke of Delaware also knows who "Jack" is. Question now is who is in charge of the beanstalk.
