Beaumont police are investigating a shooting. Around 11:30 last night the victim arrived at the
hospital by private vehicle with a gunshot wound to the leg. The shooting occurred on East
Lucas Street, near Coatsville Street. The victim is expected to recover. An arrest has not been
made.
