The punishment phase in the trial of a woman convicted for the death of her 4-year old daughter
has been moved to next week due to an illness with a juror. On Friday, a Hardin County jury
convicted Amanda Guidry for the 2011 death of Breonna Loftin. She faces five to 99 years in
prison. The punishment phase will begin on September 6th. Guidry’s boyfriend, Jason Delacerda,
was convicted in 2018 and is on death row.
