A 65-year old Port Arthur woman accused of trying to hire someone to burn down her house for
insurance money has been indicted for arson by a Jefferson County grand jury. Patricia Fairman
attempted to have fires set on her property in the 2300 block of Thomas Blvd in Port Arthur on
multiple occasions. A man she attempted to hire to set the fires contacted Port Arthur police.
