Jasper County deputies are searching for a man that robbed the Valero Store on Highway 96
in Brookeland. A man with a gun robbed the store around 6:00 Saturday evening. The suspect
is a white male, medium build. He was wearing a black mask and a blue hoodie at the time of
the robbery. The store clerk was not hurt. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the
Jasper County Sheriff’s Office.
