A Beaumont man has been sentenced to three years in federal prison for firearm violations. 46-
year old Robert Lee Anderson was spotted by Beaumont police this past March walking away
from a stolen vehicle. He threw a firearm on the roof of a house during a foot pursuit. He was
a convicted felon prohibiting him from possessing a firearm. He pleaded guilty in June and was
sentenced yesterday.
