Port Neches police have released names from Wednesday night’s shooting at Lloyd’s RV Park
Twin City Highway. 29-year old Lauire Fredrick was shot and killed. Her father, 53-year old
Kevin Fredrick, was shot and wounded. The alleged shooter, a 56-year old man, was shot and
killed by a Port Neches police officer after firing a shot towards the officer. A 13-year old girl
was not hurt. The officer has been placed on administrative leave, which is standard procedure.
The Texas Rangers are heading up the investigation.
