A $1 million bond has been set on a murder suspect that remain at-large. Tuesday, Beaumont
police issued a murder warrant on 39-year Channin Keon Ardoin. He is wanted for the October
7th murder on Jason West. Beaumont firefighters discovered West’s body after extinguishing a
fire at his home in the 4500 block of Dallas Street in Beaumont. Yesterday, Justice of the Peace
Ben Collins set Ardoin’s bond at $ 1 million. Ardoin fled on foot following a pursuit south of
Lufkin. Ardoin was in West’s vehicle.
