A murder suspect is jailed. Beaumont police arrested 39-year old Channin Keon Ardoin around
2:00 this morning near Eastex and Lucas. He is a suspect in the October 7th murder of Jason
West. West’s body was found inside his home in the 4500 of Dallas Street in Beaumont after
firefighters extinguished a fire at the home. Ardoin’s bond is set at $1 million.
