A man that was struck by a vehicle during a disturbance in the parking lot of a north
Beaumont apartment complex has died. It happened around 2:30 yesterday morning at
The Trace in the 3800 block of North Major Drive. The victim, a 38-year old Beaumont
man, was transported to the hospital where he died. The suspect, 45-year old Max Lee
Keith of Orange, left the scene and later turned himself in. Keith is charged with murder and
his bond has been set at $1 million.
