One person is in custody following a brief pursuit with Beaumont police. Police attempted to
stop a stolen vehicle around 1:30 this morning. The driver crashed in the 5300 block of
Heatherwood. The driver was transported to the Jefferson County Correctional Facility
and is facing multiple charges.
