Gas prices continue to drop. The average price in the Beaumont/Port Arthur area this morning
is $2.71 a gallon, which is down nine cents from last week. The statewide average dropped
seven cents to $2.75 a gallon, which is the lowest state average in the nation. The national
average is down 13 cents to $3.31 a gallon. These averages are from Tripe A Texas.
