(Tomball, TX)-- Federal officials are investigating the emergency landing of a small plane on the Grand Parkway yesterday morning. A single-engine Beech M35 clipped an 18-wheeler as it touched down on Highway 99 near Tomball at about 11:30 a.m. The plane caught fire after the rough landing, but the pilot and the truck driver both escaped serious injury. The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board will conduct the investigation.
