On Thursday, February 23, 2023, BPD’s Narcotics Unit, SWAT Team, K-9 and Special Assignment Unit, executed a search warrant at a residence in the 100 block of E. Simmons. During the search, narcotics detectives located a firearm as well as various narcotics inside the residence to include suspected Cocaine, Oxycocone, Methamphetamine, Crack Cocaine, Marijuana, and Hydrocodone. Damien Patterson, a 33 year old Beaumont resident, was placed under arrest and transported to the Jefferson County Jail, where he was booked for 4 counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and felon in possession of a firearm.
