Lumberton is moving to a four day school week. By a 5-2 vote, the board voted last night to
adopt a hybrid schedule for the upcoming 2023-24 school year. The vote in January was 3-3
and failed without a majority. Under this schedule the district will have a five day week the
first nine weeks and again during spring testing.
