Remains found off Bigner Road, near the Salt Water Barrier, in Beaumont on January 22nd
have been identified. DNA results have identified the remains of 56-year old Laura McKenzie,
also know as Laura Gutierrez, who was reported missing this past December. The cause of
death is undetermined at this time. Anyone with any information is asked to call Southeast
