A Tik-Tok challenge led to the vandalism of the Hotel Beaumont in downtown Beaumont Monday
night. Approximately 30 suspects, aged 12-18, smashed windows, sprayed graffiti, and destroyed
the inside of the building. The suspects are from Jefferson, Hardin, and Orange counties. None are
from Beaumont. Several were detained and turned over to their parents. Charges are pending.
