The Jefferson County grand jury has indicted 29-year old Dylan Anthony Banks, of Beaumont, for injury
to a child. Banks and his wife arrived at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston with their 5-month old son.
The child had four broken ribs and detached retinas with hemorrhaging. It was determined the child
sustained the injuries from excessive shaking. The incident occurred this past January. The child was last
listed in critical condition and on a ventilator.
