The Jasper County Sheriff’sOffice is investigating a shooting that left nine teens wounded The shooting
occurred at a home on County Road 263 north of Jasper following Saturday night’s Jasper High School
prom. More than 200 teens were at the home. Those suffering gunshot wounds ranged from the ages of
15 to 19. None of the wounds are life threatening. An arrest has not been made, but investigators do
have a person of interest.
