FEMA is awarding southwestern Louisiana another 23-million federal dollars for ongoing recovery from recent hurricanes.Louisiana's Office of Community Development will receive nearly 16-million-dollars for elevations and mitigation projects related to Hurricane Rita. Almost four-million-dollars will go to the Beauregard Electric Cooperative for emergency protective measures as a result of Delta. And the Southwest Louisiana Hospital Association will receive more than three-million dollars for repairs after Laura.
