No injuries were reported from a house fire in Lumberton. Firefighters responded to the home in the
400 block of Jordan Drive yesterday afternoon. The fire caused extensive damage to the home.
Firefighters rescued a dog from the burning home. The cause is under investigation. Early indication is a
lightening strike may have been the cause.
