Two people were transported to the hospital Saturday following a house fire in Port Arthur. Firefighters
responded to the scene in the 500 block of 19th Street just before midnight Saturday. One of the two
was listed in critical condition. A third person was able to escape the burning home before firefighters
arrived. The American Red Cross is assisting the family. No word on the cause.
