The family of a 50-year-old Beaumont man who died after a shooting at Alice Keith Park in the south end on Saturday spoke at a news conference Monday at the Beaumont Police Department. Fifty-year-old Tyron Horace of Beaumont was shot along with another person after a disturbance broke out. Horace and the other victim were not part of the fighting. There was a large crowd at the park attending different events when police received the call of ongoing gunfire. Detectives say there were a number of witnesses to the shooting and the are asking anyone with video or information to call them at 832-1234 or Crimestoppers of Southeast Texas at 833-TIPS.
