New information has been released on a Port Arthur shooting. 38-year old Eric Martin was arrested in
Lafayette, Louisiana Monday night. He is accused of shooting a killing Sherika Simpson, a mother of six,
on 15th Street in Port Arthur. He is also accused of shooting an wounding Leon Davis on Vicksburg Street.
He is in stable condition. The body of Simpson was found in Martin’s vehicle when he was pulled over in
Lafayette.
