Two are jailed following a traffic stop in Beaumont. Yesterday afternoon’s stop was in the 2100 block of
I-10. Suspected crack cocaine and suspected heroin was found in the vehicle. 40-year old Walter Jones,
of Beaumont is charged with possession of a controlled substance and 39-year old Demone Wilbert, of
Beaumont is charged with manufacturing/delivery of a controlled substance. Both were transported to
the Jefferson County Correctional Facility.
