The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office reports a man died Monday while trimming trees. It happened on
Farm to Market Road 2938 southwest of Buna. The 66-year old man fell off a ladder when a large tree
limb hit him. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
