The Texas Rangers are heading up the investigation into an officer involved fatal shooting in Groves.
According to witnesses, a 60-year man was acting erratically yesterday afternoon and pointed a gun
at officers near Main and 25th Street. The man was shot and transported to the Medical Center of
Southeast Texas where he was pronounced dead.
