Gas prices continue to increase. The average price in the Beaumont/Port Arthur area this morning is
$3.40 a gallon, which is up 10 cents from last week. The average price across the Lone Star State
jumped eight cents to $3.49 a gallon. The national average is up 10 cents to $3.83 a gallon. These
averages are from Triple A Texas.
