Beaumont police have released the name of a man that was shot and killed outside the Crystal Grocery
Shell store on Concord Road Sunday morning. 31-year old Remound Washington was pronounced dead
at the scene. The alleged shooter, 33-year old Jeremy Dixon of Beaumont, was found nearby hiding
behind a dumpster. He is being held on a $1 million murder bond and a $50,000 bond for a previous
aggravated assault/family violence warrant. A second shooting victim was transported to the hospital.
