The DPS has released the name of a man killed in a Sunday night wreck. 31-year old Margarito Medrano,
of Beaumont, was traveling at an unsafe speed on Old Dowlen Road and lost control of his vehicle on a
curve. His pickup left the road and struck an utility police. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
