A 66-year old Beaumont man is charged with murder. Leonard Paul Thompson is accused of the
September 14th stabbing death of 74-year old Peggie Ann Pier at the Rain Tree Tower Apartments in the
3000 block of French Road in Beaumont. Thompson is being held on a $800,000 bond.
