Gas prices in the Beaumont/Port Arthur area are down a penny from last week. This morning’s average
price is $3,35 a gallon. A year ago we were paying $3.23 a gallon. The statewide average is down four
cents to $3.39 a gallon. The national average for a gallon of gas in $3.85.
